We had a car show on Saturday, September 26th, and it was PHENOMENAL! You know when you host something like that, we always have a guess of how many people, or in this case cars, will attend. I was expecting 30-40 cars, but in the back of my head, I was praying that we’d get 50. Uh, yeah. We had 94 cars register! You read that correctly, 94 cars. We actually had to turn hotrods away for nearly two hours because we simply couldn’t fit any more vehicles on the parking lot. It was held here where Adam and I work, and I’ll see if I can figure out how to post some pictures. If I can’t make it work on here, then you can just check them out on our Facebook page- they’re under albums. Anyhoo, it was incredible! We had live music, beautiful cars, trucks, motorcycles, jeeps, and trucks. The amount of support was amazing- honestly, we raised almost $5,600, which was wayyyy more than I had even dreamed. A big thank you to all who attended, donated items for our raffles, bought raffle tickets, and stopped by for lunch. One of the most incredible parts is that our next K-9 handler called the police academy and requested that some of the current cadets come our to help- and they DID! We appreciate you all!
